Wow!

Huge thanks to whoever nominated me at the Love's Last Glimpse awards. I'm going to take a wild guess and say KCarolJ65? Lovely end to my holiday. Haven't read any Spuffy for a fortnight, so not even recs this week. That's a lie, actually. I printed out Sharelle's Out of Joint, and Bogwitch's Working my Way because they'd both had updates and I read them both through from the beginning. Which was great fun for me, but you've all read those two, right?

I was trying to edit my WIP, take out the UnAmerican swearing and Britisms and add a few more personal pronouns, and I noticed LJ has taken out all of my italics. I've had a flick through the LJ faq but - really stupid with computers. Anyone know how I can put them back again?

You need to insert the html code for italics.

type in left bracket, i, right bracket (the symbols, not the words), then type the word you want to italicize, then immediately type left brack, slash, i, right bracket (the symbols, again, not the words. That should do it.

Yes, as [livejournal.com profile] makd says, you put "i" and "/i" around the word you want italicized, like so: "i"hello"/i", only you use < > instead of quote marks. Good luck and congrats on the nomination!

I wish I could take credit for nominating you. I would have, but then I got sidetracked with vacation, etc. and by the time I got back someone had beaten me to it! Congratulations on the nom, it's well deserved!
