I really could have phrased that one better. I meant if you judged Spike the vampire by human standards he'd come up short, not that he made a crappy human being before he was turned. Guess this chapter's getting a rewrite, cause I love Buffy maybe more than I love Spike and I don't want her to sound bitter.
