This was very hot, and you write a delectable Spike. He's just meltingly sexy here. Your Buffy voice is also quite good, and she can be difficult to catch. Nice job with her characterization, too: I like the way you capture her genuine ambivalence, rather than taking the easy out of over-simplifying her emotions.

You've got some wonderful lines in this:

Spike was making things unaccountably worse by trying to be nice when she wanted to be mad at him. Would it be completely out of line to hit him again for no reason at all?
