bwahahahahahahaha. I do the same thing, when i write a fic I think, well, maybe they just have forgotten details of a story, and that's cool, sometimes I do too. But then sometimes things happen within a chapter and they don't get it and I know they just skimmed the chapter lol. The only other choice is to believe there is no reading comprehension going on.

Note: I'm not talking about interpretation of what a story means, but actual facts that happen in the story. I understand, especially with FA, that a lot of people see it completely differently than me, and that's cool.
