Great recs, sadly I've read them all. Stephen Fry is a very funny guy, and he's written another called Making History which is more of a slash-romance-timetravel-novel, which is also very good. Hugh Laurie's is a very boys own adventure in first person, well written but you suspect it's a tiny bit of a Mary Sue.
