Lovely story. The Dawn-Spike conversations about the rescue were perfect. Buffy's reaction to Spike saving her were right on. Spike was "...her problem, her impossibility, standing right there in her kitchen." "The very idea that a vampire could up and decide to get a soul was enough to knock the socks off any Slayer." I liked that the ending wasn't tied together too neatly.
