I haven't been reading this fic because RL is kinda hectic - but I do want to comment about one thing - the people talking to the characters in the fic thing - it happens a LOT in reviews. I get reviews like that. I GIVE reviews like that. Generally, it is a mark that the reader is so into the story they almost feel they can comment to the characters themselves. So it's a good thing - not them being crazy.
